Notary services

Mobile notary in Sugar Land, or online from anywhere

Commissioned, bonded, and insured Texas notaries, in person across Sugar Land and greater Houston or online for signers well beyond it. We stay in Texas during the session, you do not have to be.

Two ways to do it

Mobile notary or remote online notarization

A notary has to witness the signature either way. The difference is whether that happens in person or on video.

Mobile notary

We come to you

Your office, a hospital room, a rehabilitation facility, a coffee shop. We meet the signer where they already are.

  • Useful when the signer cannot travel
  • Multiple signers handled in one visit
  • Travel quoted before we come out, never after
Remote online

Over video, often same day

You and the notary meet in a live video session. Identity is verified electronically, you sign digitally, and the notary applies an electronic seal. You do not have to be in Texas.

  • No travel and no scheduling around a drive
  • Works for most signers outside Texas, checked before we book
  • You keep a digital original rather than a scan

Documents

What we notarize most

Records work put us in front of these every week, so the paperwork is familiar.

Authorizations

HIPAA authorizations and releases, which have to be executed correctly or the custodian will not act on them. We have seen what gets rejected and why.

Affidavits and declarations

Sworn statements, affidavits of no records, business records affidavits, and declarations that need a notary before they can be filed or relied on.

Everything else

Powers of attorney, consents, and acknowledgments, plus the everyday forms a bank, title company, or employer returns because they were not notarized.

Not on the list? We notarize it anyway. In person across greater Houston, or online.

Coverage

Cities we travel to

Based in Sugar Land. Weekday appointments, with evenings and weekends by arrangement.

Fort Bend County

Sugar Land, Missouri City, Stafford, Richmond, Rosenberg, Katy, and Fulshear. This is home, so travel is short and appointments are easier to fit in.

Greater Houston

Houston, Bellaire, West University, Pearland, Sienna, and the Texas Medical Center. Travel is charged per mile from our office and quoted before we come.

Outside that range, or on a schedule that will not take a visit? Online notarization removes the drive entirely. We also handle medical record retrieval and billing records retrieval nationwide.

Common questions

What people ask about notarization

What to have ready, and what we can do.

What is remote online notarization?

You and the notary meet over a live video session instead of in the same room. Your identity is verified electronically, you sign digitally, and the notary applies an electronic seal. The finished document is a valid notarized record, and you keep a digital original rather than a scan of a paper copy.

Are your notaries commissioned, bonded, and insured?

Yes. Our notaries hold current Texas commissions, carry the surety bond the state requires, and hold errors and omissions coverage on top of it. The ones performing remote sessions are separately authorized by the state to notarize online.

Do I have to be a records client to use the notary?

No. Anyone can book a notary with us. You do not need an account, a case, or any connection to our records work.

How soon can you come out?

Often the same day, depending on where the signer is and what else is booked. Online sessions are usually quicker to arrange because there is no drive. Tell us your deadline when you write and we will tell you straight whether we can meet it.

What do I need to have ready?

A valid government issued photo identification, the complete document, and every signer present. Do not sign the document beforehand. A notary has to witness the signature, so a document signed in advance cannot be notarized.

Can you notarize a HIPAA authorization or an affidavit?

Yes. Authorizations, affidavits, sworn statements, and declarations are the documents we handle most, because they come up constantly in records work. See medical record retrieval.

Can you notarize for me if I am not in Texas?

Usually yes. A Texas commissioned online notary has to be physically in Texas during the session, but you do not. A few states have not adopted remote notarization, and courts, agencies, and title companies sometimes set their own conditions on what they will accept. Tell us where you are and where the document is going, and we will check both before you book rather than after.
